Are you ready for some new music from Hollywood Undead? If you’re not up to date, here’s a chronological breakdown of what’s going on.

On September 19, during Louder Than Life, they were interviewed by Rockfeed. During the interview, J-Dog revealed: «We got a new song that’s ready. We have a feature, we can’t say who yet, but it’s someone everybody knows.»

A few days later, on September 22, Johnny 3 Tears went live on Instagram, mentioning new music. «New HU also coming out shortly. We’re filming a video in a few days, I don’t know exactly when it’s gonna come out. New HU… somewhat soon.»

We’re in the dark about most of the details, but based on the BTS images and videos, we can piece together that the video shoot took place at Redwall Studio.

The video was filmed in a dark environment. One location was a live stage with red lighting from geometric LED fixtures. Another location seen in a BTS photo is a small room dominated by dramatic red lighting. The walls are decorated with what appear to be newspaper sheets or posters.

Based on a previously shared Instagram photo, it seems like the band also had their masks shipped out to the tour a few days before filming. Also, the video will feature new touring drummer Jeeves Avalos performing.

As far as release timelines go, Hollywood Undead is no stranger to thematically timing their releases to October and the Halloween season, so (while speculating) we wouldn’t be surprised to see the rollout for something to start sometime in the next month or so.
