It’s spooky season here in the States, and Hollywood Undead officially kicked Fall off with the start of the (Return of the) Taste of Chaos Tour earlier this week at The Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday – and boy did they bring some surprises!
With special shout-outs to u/InLawsDrivingMeMAD on r/HollywoodUndead – we got our first look at the band’s updated setlist for the tour, including the return of tracks such as “War Child” and “Renegade”, and most notably in the community in the following days, the return of “Black Dahlia” after over a decade!
Fan footage from the shows would also display new stage production and new visualizers during the performances-
u/InLawsDrivingMeMAD would also share previews of the band’s updated merch spread for the tour, which is super helpful for fans trying to budget ahead of their shows in the coming weeks-

Finally, and what’s arguably making the most buzz, is the return of masks to the beginning of the band’s live sets! Charlie Scene and Funny Man appear to be wearing the safe soft goods bandanna and mask that first debuted in the band’s current cycle in the “Hollywood Forever” music video, while Johnny 3 Tears, Danny and J-Dog appear to be donning brand new evolutions of their mask designs designed our friends at Second Nature Workshop, with what looks tgo be very early concepts on their Instagram here for J-Dog and Johnny (here’s to hoping for more BTS content soon!).
The band’s current tour photographer, Ty Trehern, also posted a super impressive collection of images and clips from the Charlotte show, featuring some choice shots of the masks in high quality (including the article thumbnail we used above!) on the band and his own IGs – those galleries can be seen here and here.
With the tour just getting started that’s a lot to soak in! We’re all personally super excited to see the masks return to live performances, and are looking forward to how other media photographers will capture the masks on stage and the possibility of even more surprises as the tour continues.
