Five, the latest album from Hollywood Undead, has been available for purchase and streaming for a couple weeks now, so here’s a quick recap of some early sales data. Where did the album ultimately chart on the various sales charts around the world? Read one for more:
The big-dog in charts for music, Billboard, slates the album’s launch at #22 for its debut week. Though the chart calendar on that page says the album reached that peak on November 18th…of 2017? Probably a glitch in their reporting software, or they’re just time travelers.

In the US only, the album peaked at #7, as a bit of an update to the @chartdata tweet above, the album has moved at least 18,215 copies in the States as of this writing.
Across the pond, officialcharts.com has a bunch of charting positions for the album on various UK-based charts. The new album managed to place on many of the charts they track, and we’ve combined all the data below:
United Kingdom Official Album Charts: #31
United Kingdom:
Operating in the rarified atmosphere where rap meets rock, Californian band Hollywood Undead breached the Top 40 for the first time with their last album, Day Of The Dead, debuting and peaking at No.34 (3,228 sales) in 2015. The five-piece’s fifth album is the aptly-titled Five, which surpasses that position but on lower sales opening at No.31 (2,636 sales).

Music site Big Champagne also clocked HU in at #48 on their Ultimate Artists chart.
Finally, the band’s healthy chart performance helped their distribution partner, BMG, secure four top 10 spots on the US charts at the same time during release week, something that will hopefully make future distribution deals for the now independent band an even easier sell to would-be partners-

Finally even the band commented on the album reaching #2 on the iTunes Charts in the US, while Scene for Dummies tracked the album’s iTunes launch in international markets-
